I think the gold ferrule looks like a high end luxe brush but in most cases are far better than some so it's a win win. The huge bonus for me is the vegan, cruelty free option too. This makeup brush is a joy to use, it picks up the makes up well and blends it to perfection. I only need this one brush to apply eyeshadow and blend it. The weight of the brush is also nice to use. Comes across as really good quality. Very pleased with my purchase.
